Perfumes For Your Wedding Day
Perfumes should be regarded with the same attitude as outfits. Not every outfit in your closet suits every occasion you attend. The same rule applies to perfume - not every perfume suits every occasion. We all tend to have a signature perfume - the one we favor most and most often wear, but there are occasions that call for something a little more exotic, or subtle.

Choosing a perfume or fragrance for your wedding day that is just right might need a little help from the experts. You will probably want something different for your special day. Your choice will probably depend on what type of wedding you have arranged and the dress you have chosen.

1) A country wedding held in a garden will bring thoughts of flowers and grass. Your choice of perfume would be floral, but soft, as you will not want to compete with the flowers in the garden surrounding you. Amarige by Givenchy is classified as a floral perfume, as it has a blend of violets, mimosa and orange flowers combined with sweet spices and fruity notes.

2) You might be planning a very romantic wedding with a fairytale dress with long train, horse carriage and all the trimmings to go with it - then you might consider wearing a romantic perfume. There are a number of perfumes that are recommended for romantic occasions, and are well worth testing at your local perfume counter.

3) Planning a casual wedding? Then you will want a light perfume. Look for a soft subtle perfume that will not overwhelm a casual occasion. Test it at your nearest perfume counter before you make a final choice.

Never buy a perfume before you have tested it on your skin

Perfumes don't have the same effect on every one's skin as it depends on the chemistry of the skin, age and diet of the person, so should first be tested. Allow at least an hour after spraying perfume on the back of the hand before you make a decision.
